Sydney's Ouchie!!!

So this is my beautiful daughter, Sydney.
On Friday morning it was sunny
for a maximum of 5 minutes.
In that 5 minutes
Sydney ran out to ride her bike,
within seconds of starting up she fell on her chin.
With blood oozing everywhere
she came in the house blood everywhere.
I am not a good mom with blood.
I got confirmation from a friend
(all boys she knows wounds)
and took Syd in for stitches!
She did awesome.
She got 3 deep stitches and 7 top stitches.
They should be dissolved by the end of the week.
Sydney while at the doctors office didn't cry once. She was amazing!
I would have cool pictures of it,
but Britton broke my camera a few days ago.
(yeah the camera I thought was broken before but Monte fixed it.)
The camera is officially broken!
No more pictures on my old camera.
Thanks Britton!

A Solution!

So in college I majored in Psychology.
I learned all about diverting
children's attention when they are doing things
they shouldn't be!
But does it work?

Well I have discovered my Connor
loves to vacuum!
So if you are going to have
a lot of energy and be the youngest
of five kids, this is the
perfect activity!
My floors are always in need of vacuuming!

So as long as Connor enjoys vacuuming,

and doesn't discover that he can suck up

anything he desires with my Dyson, we

are finding harmony in our home!

Truth about Britton's Experiment!!

So the previous post was for the benefit of Britton's class.
Due to modern technology Britton can do the assignment at home,
post it on the Internet and the class can watch it!
So I was nice BUT now that school is out today
I am ready to explain that horrid assignment!!
It took 4 hours to build and another 2 hours to get the thing to work!!
52 takes later we succeeded!!
Here are a couple of my favorite outtakes!
( thought I got Britton screaming on camera but I can't find that one!)

And of course this wonderful one!

Yeah! Summer vacation starts today!

No more projects for at least 3 months!

(oh yeah there is that Eagle Project this summer!)
